Friday, February 27th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Mark your calendars! ISEA will be hosting a Winter Lantern Walk at Leo Creek Preserve on Friday, February 27th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Experience Leo Creek Preserve in a way that you have never before! We will have lanterns lighting a beautiful loop along the trail, inviting you to wander through the woods and enjoy the peaceful winter atmosphere at your own pace.
What to expect:
- If we have snow, we will have a limited selection of child and adult snowshoes available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Well-behaved and leashed dogs will be allowed.
- There are no bathrooms on site, so please plan accordingly.
- There will be hot cocoa available at the fire pit in the Leo Creek garden to warm you up!
Arrival & Parking:
- Please check in and say hello at the ISEA greeting tables (located at each entrance) before you start your hike.
- Primary Parking: Leelanau Trail trailhead lot (off 4th Street).
- Overflow Parking: Since the main lot is small, we recommend carpooling or parking at Hanson’s Grocery or the Inland Seas Education Association offices.
