Volunteers

Inland Seas Education Association (ISEA) is recruiting volunteers to support our mission of protecting the Great Lakes through education. Our volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds and contribute their time and talents to our mission. But NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY! If needed, training sessions are in place that will provide you with the program content, skills, and teaching strategies that will help make you successful.

Instructor Training Schedule

We will offer two all-day trainings again this year, covering ALL of the information in the evening sessions and more. These trainings will be held at the Inland Seas Education Center and will run from 9am to 5pm.

April 24: New Instructor All Day Training
April 27: Returning Instructor All Day Training

Finally, we’re going to do a series of “Wet Runs” which is basically a dress rehearsal for our three major programs. These days will give you a definite feel for the program and the schedule. The Wet Runs take place from 8:30am to 12:30pm, just like our normal programs.

May 2: Traditional Program
May 3: Next-Gen Program
May 4: Diving Deeper Program

Please contact Tom Maynard if you want to help or have any questions at all!
